Puppies and Princesses

The boys were both in the local children's theater production of 101 Dalmatians this spring.  Ethan was Patch--one of the Dalmatian puppies and Grant was a Boxer dog.  They had to audition, had rehearsals for about 8 weeks, and then had 6 performances.  It was so cute to see them perform!  They both enjoyed it and were sad to have it end.

And Elise loves to be a princess at home!  She has a couple different princess/dress up type dresses and enjoys wearing them to dance in or watch princess movies in.
Even princesses need a nap sometimes though

How about this goofy selfie Grant took!

Playing in the Snow

Our kids love playing in the snow--this Feb. storm didn't amount to much or pack together too well (hence our small snowman), but it was fun to play in!

Fantastic February

Enjoyed a warm day at the park!

Met Aunt Joanna at the museum

Yummy blueberries!

Showing off the Valentine's "box" he made--a love dino/dragon (Grant's class decorated bags at school to put Valentine's in)

Valentine's crafts we made at home with hand/foot prints!
decorating Valentine's cookies!

showing off the hat Uncle Dan knitted...it has a really long tail!! (which Dan said used to be a "status" symbol when he was a kid--the longer the tail, the cooler you were!)

playing with scarves at the library!

celebrating Aunt Joanna's 30th!

Grant lost both bottom teeth (they were loose) when he tripped and bumped them at my parents' house.  He was excited to have the tooth fairy visit for the 1st time!

Ethan's camouflage pinewood derby car

Both boys also were busy with play rehearsal for 101 Dalmatians all month, and Elise got potty-trained (which went a lot smoother/easier than I was expecting based off my experience with the boys!) and got her new big girl bed all set-up.
