Grant turned 7 in July! We celebrated with a Dinosaur Birthday this year! It was a lot of fun!

I've thought of him as a "little" boy for so long--so it's weird to think that he's not all that little anymore. He can be such a great friend to his siblings (loves playing with Ethan and Elise) or he teases and torments the girls and fights with Ethan. He often helps with Audrey. He loves animals--still longing for the time he gets a dog! Legos are still one of his favorite things to play with. Grant is adventurous and not usually afraid to try new things. He loves riding his bike and scooter and making mud pits in parts of my garden! This summer was a bit challenging for him--Ethan has a best friend that he saw almost weekly, so Grant tagged along when he could, or would stay home and play with Elise (they really are good friends playing grocery store or dress-up), and we had friends his age over a couple times; but hopefully over the next year or so, he'll make a close friend or two so he doesn't have to feel left out.
