A robot and a pirate

That title sounds like it could be part of a joke! But no, those were the Halloween costumes for this year! Ethan was our little robot and would say in his best "robot" voice: I am a robot, Trick or Treat! And arg matey, Grant was a pirate!

Ethan found the robot costume a bit cumbersome though, so for his school's fall party, he decided to be a cowboy!

And we got a bit lazy with carving pumpkins (Oct. was busy--and all 3 boys in my house are grossed out by the pumpkin "guts"), so we were late in getting them carved, but wanted to still do it since we had the pumpkins and it's a tradition to carve pumpkins and listen to the "sounds of the season" music channel--so we get to listen to spooky music!

So we carved pumpkins in November listening to Christmas music! That was a bit unusual--but I guess there is no "Thanksgiving" music to play so they skip right to Christmas music.

We carved faces to represent each of us!
