finding baskets at our house,
and the annual egg hunt at grandpa and grandma's house
We also did a few new activities too:
An Easter Eve dinner out with Jon's side of the family (forgot my camera that night)
And dyeing eggs with old silk ties--a cool craft from my friends' food blog. We got 4 neat ones this year--next year we will know to use dark colored ties (the colors seem to fade), make sure the ties are silk (a couple weren't marked, so we were just hoping they were), and find a new technique for wrapping the silk very tightly around the eggs.
Overall it was a great day spent with family and remembering the miracle of Easter--the resurrection of Christ!
