Little Lady is 1

First a sidenote: For those of you who read our blog, I apologize that I go so long between blogging.  And because I use this also as a personal/family record of sorts, I feel bad I am so hit and miss at keeping it up to date.  Guess that's what happens when you are busy with 3 kids/on summer break/busy with all our "extra" things: church, Montessori board, kids' activities, etc. 

It seemed like the fastest year--but somehow our baby girl turned 1 in May!   We had a ladybug party to celebrate our Little Lady's big day with family.

She loved her new sunglasses!

 

 Cake time--although she wasn't quite sure what to think of the frosting--she acted like it was icky putting her fingers in it.

A few things about Elise at age 1:
-loves her dollies
-loves flowers: she likes to help mom "plant" them (or rather pull them out of the pots mom put them into) or pull the flowers off of the plants!
-love girly things like shoes, clothes and necklaces
-but she's also a fan of balls and cars (she even makes a car noise)
-still not sleeping the whole night through
-has 12 teeth! 
-her hair is long enough to pull into pig-tails or a pony-tail
-walks all over and climbs up the stairs (working on going down)
-she's a screamer and pretty stubborn...she will only do something if it's her idea and will let you know if she's mad about something!
-favorite foods: yogurt, blueberries, avocados,
-she dances (bops up and down) to music

We are so blessed to have this sweet girl in our lives!!
