This summer Elise and I joined my mom and sisters for a weekend Girls' Trip to Glenwood Springs/Palisade/western slope area. (Jon stayed home with the boys) It was a nice little getaway.
Elise loved swimming in the warm water
She found my sister's make-up box (or box of treasures)
Visiting Vega State Park--where my parents were park rangers many years ago (pre-kids)
While doing some 4-wheeling, we crossed this stream and stopped to play in it--Elise was taken back with how cold the water is, but then she adjusted and was happy to dip her feet in.
We hiked the Mesa Lake Shoreline Trail on the Grand Mesa--beautiful!
